<h2>Warranty Coordinator - Construction</h2><h2>Horizons East LLC</h2>Jacksonville, NC | Full-Time | $26.00 to $29.00/hour Horizons East is a locally owned homebuilder serving Jacksonville and surrounding counties. We build with integrity, clear communication, and a commitment to quality-values our team and community can count on.&nbsp; We are hiring a Warranty Coordinator to oversee residential warranty services across the Onslow, Carteret, and Pender County markets and surrounding areas. This role is responsible for managing pre-closing home demonstrations, homeowner orientations, warranty follow-ups, repair coordination, and post-construction service requests. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct pre-closing home demonstrations with homeowners or agents and the Construction Superintendent</li><li>Complete homeowner orientations at or around closing</li><li>Manage rollover repairs and complete 90-day follow-ups</li><li>Send closing day and 1-year follow-up emails to homeowners</li><li>Oversee the warranty process from request intake through completion</li><li>Visit homes to review warranty concerns and create clear scopes of work for subcontractors</li><li>Complete minor warranty and punch-list repairs when appropriate</li><li>Coordinate qualified subcontractors for larger or specialized repairs</li><li>Maintain timely, professional communication with homeowners, subcontractors, trade partners, and team members</li><li>Handle 1-year warranty walkthroughs with homeowners</li><li>Review warranty-covered items in accordance with the warranty manual</li><li>Ensure identified warranty issues are addressed promptly and thoroughly</li><li>Handle non-emergency warranty items during regular business hours</li><li>Serve as the primary after-hours contact for emergency warranty issues</li><li>Coordinate emergency warranty responses with homeowners and trade partners</li><li>Update warranty items, project notes, schedules, and communication in company systems</li><li>Represent Horizons East professionally while working in occupied homes and active jobsite environments</li><li>Support the team with hands-on repairs and warranty needs as required</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years of residential or commercial construction experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge of one or more building trades, such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or related trades</li><li>Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, warranty manuals, and construction documents</li><li>Strong understanding of technical construction details and repair coordination</li><li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to maintain accurate and timely updates in the company's project management platform</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, homeowners, and warranty items</li><li>Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Resourceful, dependable, detail-oriented, energetic, and flexible</li><li>Comfortable completing minor repairs and being hands-on when needed</li><li>Professional, customer-focused approach when working with homeowners, agents, subcontractors, and team members</li><li>Ability to commute to Jacksonville, NC and travel to multiple jobsite locations</li><li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record required</li></ul>Pay &amp; Benefits<ul><li>$26.00 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience</li><li>Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week</li><li>Full-time, in-person position</li><li>Company truck</li><li>Company phone and laptop</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>Education Assistance Program</li><li>Home Purchase Discount Program</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM</li><li>Friday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM</li><li>Up to one hour unpaid lunch Monday through Thursday</li><li>Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week</li><li>Must be available by phone outside regular business hours for emergency warranty situations</li><li>Responsible for responding to and coordinating after-hours emergency warranty calls, including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Flexible schedule required to accommodate emergency warranty needs</li></ul>Why Join Horizons East<ul><li>Be part of a small, forward-thinking homebuilding team&nbsp;</li><li>See your drawings directly influence real homes and job sites&nbsp;</li><li>Work in a culture built on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement&nbsp;</li><li>Opportunity to grow your drafting skills within a residential construction environment</li></ul>
